CSD Energy Advisors Expands National Footprint with Acquisition of New York-based Novo Energy Services
HOUSTON – Jan. 19, 2023 – CSD Energy Advisors, a Texas-based energy management solutions provider, announced today they have further expanded into the national retail energy market with the acquisition of New York-based Novo Energy Services, an energy consulting and advisory firm operating out of New York City, Cape Cod, Maine and Houston, Texas. The acquisition solidifies CSD’s continued commitment to growth in the competitive energy space.

Novo Energy Services was formed in July of 2018 to fill a void in the energy advisory industry. The company is renowned for its strong relationships and ability to provide advanced procurement sophistication and added value for both supplier and client. Novo Energy Services offers clients a holistic understanding of each supplier’s sophisticated energy offerings. The company’s services include efficiency upgrades, strategic procurement, renewable development, onsite generation and demand reduction, and manages 1,400,000 MWh of electricity and 1,000,000,000 dekatherms of natural gas.

The acquisition was finalized in December 2022 and will not impact the rates or services for clients of CSD Energy Advisors or Novo Energy Services. CSD Energy Advisors acquired select large commercial and industrial clients from Incite Energy, LLC in 2018.
